CHAMPION OUR CAUSE – JOIN THE VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT

The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance is seeking volunteers to serve as champions for our cause. We need your help to facilitate local connections for those affected by TSC, raise revenue and increase awareness while supporting the mission of our organization.

Volunteers are needed for:

• Support Network – Communicate with adults, parents and caregivers or teenagers about your experiences with TSC. These local connections assist the TS Alliance in providing resources to individuals who contact us seek support and information. Volunteers are especially needed from Vermont, Montana and North Dakota.

• Matching Program – Matches individuals or families across the country with those who share similar challenges.

• Outreach and Awareness – Educate your community about TSC and the TS Alliance. Distribute updated TSC information to targeted medical community, advocate for TSC research funding from elected officials and reach out to local media to increase the visibility of TSC.

• Government Advocacy – Create greater research dollars by contacting and meeting with your US Senators and Representatives.

• Community Fund Raising – Organize a special event in your local community to raise funds for the TS Alliance.

• Community Alliances – Join one of our volunteer branches in 24 locations across the United States. Community Alliances host educational meetings, organize special events, raise awareness and serve as a resource in their communities.

The TS Alliance will support your efforts by providing materials, resources and guidance. Become a champion and join our national network of local connections to better serve all those affected by TSC.
